Residents of Chester and Upland
interested in soccer or helping to promote healthy lifestyles for children in
the community are invited learn more about the Chester Upland Soccer for
Success program at a Coaches Training event on Tuesday, February 19 from 4
p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Schwartz Athletic Center at Widener University.
Participants will learn about the Soccer
for Success program and receive training to be a coach in the program by
members of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. A free dinner will be provided.
Registration is limited to the first 25 people who register.

Widener University operates Soccer
for Success through a grant from the U.S. Soccer Foundation. The program
uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy
lifestyles for low-income students in the Chester Upland School District.
