Chester High Basketball Fan Fest

Sharing the Memories Six Decades of Chester High School Basketball Excellence

The Delaware County Historical Society and the Delco Athletes Hall of Fame are making plans to have a special day for all fans and former players and coaches of Chester High School Clippers basketball teams to gather and share warm memories of six decades of CHS basketball excellence.

It will be a midday event, to be held on March 30, 2013, at DCHS’s Museum of the History of Delaware County, 408 Avenue of the States, Chester, where there is an extensive exhibit on the history of the Chester Clippers.

Reservations must be received before March 26, 2013. The cost is $20.00 per person; lunch is included.  All proceeds will benefit elementary school students living in the Chester School District who would like to participate in the DCHS award-winning Passport to History program.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see 60 years of Clippers’ history and meet the former coaches and players who made the records and titles.  If you're interested in taking part in this event, send a check, payable to the Mickey Vernon Museum, to Jim Vankoski at 14 Morgan Road, Aston, PA 19014
