Chamber Music Concert at Gloria Dei Church
The André Café Acoustique is on
the move.
In a CoProduction with The Sexton SideShow a concert will be given at Gloria Dei (Old Swedes') Church in Philadelphia.

A Chamber Music Concert featuring the Trio for Clarinet, Piano & Cello by Johannes Brahms.
Rounding out this concert will be works by Felix Popper, Leonard Bernstein, Beethoven and others.
A donation of only $10 will be asked. This will include a small buffet (Gloria Dei ALWAYS has good food!) and one drink.
Gloria Dei Church is located on the city block bounded by Delaware Ave. (Some say 'Columbus Blvd.'), Christian Street, Washington Ave. and Water Street.

Education, Art, and Fun this Summer at Crozer Library

Crozer Library’s “Financial Smarts for Seniors” sessions continue on Tuesday evenings, July 2nd and July 9th from 6-7:30 p.m. Presented by CLARIFI, the sessions will address the “Wise Use of Credit Cards” and “Identity Theft, Scams, and Financial Predators.” Attend either or both of the sessions. Light refreshments will be provided.

“Financial
Smarts for Seniors” is part of the library’s MoneySmart program. MoneySmart is
a cooperative program with the Delaware County Library System and the Library
Foundation of Delaware County. It is made possible by a grant from the FINRA
Investor Education Foundation and the American Library Association.
Art on Avenue of the States returns to Crozer Library on Tuesday evening, July 16th at 6 p.m. to offer a class on “Landscape Art.” Join us on the library lawn (weather permitting) as we learn how to capture the great outdoors. All ages are invited; children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No experience necessary and all supplies will be provided! Registration is limited. Light refreshments will be provided.
On Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30 p.m., Crozer Library hosts a “Funeral and Burial Planning” session. Join us as Mr. Theodore Hawkins from Laws Funeral Home addresses this difficult but necessary topic, telling us how to plan now so that our families are not stressed in their time of grief. Light refreshments will be provided.
Coming soon to Crozer Library: the August African-American Movie Series on Tuesday evenings August 6th through 27th beginning at 5:45 p.m. These classic films are rated G and PG. All ages are welcome; children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Light refreshments will be provided.

Crisis Intervention Training
There will be a FREE Crisis Intervention
Training tomorrow, June 25, 2013 at the Chester Boys and Girls Club at 4:30 pm.
This training will replace regular Youth Serving Organization Meeting.

take 'The City Challenge' presented by Google to get local businesses online
during the 81st Annual United States Conference of Mayors. In the coming
months, Google will rollout the challenge in detail to participating cities.
