As Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service approaches, there are a number of events taking place in the area. I hope to attend at least these two events on MLK Day Monday, January 17, 2011.
MLK Commemoration and Celebration Event, 9:00 am
YWCA: 4 East 7th Street, Chester, PA
Activities include: Volunteering, quilting and mural projects, and programs for the kids
Chester School students will be there to participate in community service activities
Dr. Alonzo Cavin, Widener University Professor
Crozer Hall, Crozer Medical Center, 2:00 pm.
Will speak about the historic life of Dr. King
