Miss Calendar Girl Ball

Top Winners with Certificates and Trophies: Miss January-Amika, Miss February-Anuri, and Miss March-Kortne'
The NSPDK Xinos presented Miss Calendar Girl Ball today at the Ramada Inn in Essington, PA January 15th, 2011. This was the most beautiful event, very tastefully done. If you haven’t seen young people behaved in a dignified manner lately, then you missed out. We had the cream of the crop at this ball. These teenagers were from Chester and across the tri-state such as, Chester High, Science and Discovery, Concord High, Brandywine High, Great Valley, and other schools were represented. This formal Affair was like a cotillion. I was very impressed by this formal ball. The young ladies were dress in beautiful white formal ball gowns and the young men were in black tuxedos. The Calendar Girls were introduced with their escorts. There are Calendar Girls for every month from January to December. They were presented with certificates and the top three were awarded trophies. The young ladies and their escorts also had a formal dance.

The table setting was perfect and the food was great. DJ Gerald played today’s finest music. The Guest Speaker and Mistress of Ceremony was Kamika Bost the Founder and Executive Director of Catalyst for Change. Her organization recently traveled to Nicaragua for a health fair. The Xinos were instrumental in helping to collect toothbrushes and toothpaste for children in Nicaragua. Ms. Bost is a Soror of Phi Delta Kappa, Former Miss Black Pennsylvania USA, and Former Miss Pennsylvania International.

Mr. William Nix took formal pictures which will be complied into a calendar. The calendars will be available shortly. The calendars are for fundraising purposes such as scholarships for higher education institutions.
