Sojourner at the Hedgerow

Sojourner a play by Richard LaMonte Pierce is on stage at the Hedgerow Theatre in Rose Valley, PA. The play is about the life of Sojourner Truth, aka Isabella Baumfree (also spelled Bomefree), from slavery to her rise to the Lincoln White House. The play features Zuhairah actress and director of the play. The play started January 20 and runs through February 6^th. This is a great opportunity to catch the play especially with Black History Month approaching. I am sure some of the local students will be catching the play while it’s in the area.
