Crozer library will close its doors on Sundays and Mondays due to lack of
funding from the City of Chester. Patrons of the library will have less visiting
hours. The library is involved in a lot of good for the community. Last spring LaTanya
Bruno, Director of the library, visited Chester High School for a dictionary
drive. Students volunteered to label and pack boxes of dictionaries to be
donated to area schools. A few years ago, they allowed homebound instruction
which instructors could utilize as a safe zone and to access books and
computers for students. Crozer Library had many programs over the years and a
lot of them were posted on this blog through press releases.
Here is a list of
programs Crozer Library hosted over the years:
Baby Shower
for new and expectant parents
Medicare
updates for seniors
50th
Anniversary of the March on Washington
Black History

Hope that the library gets the funding needed to be up and running at
full capacity soon.
