Taylor putback off a missed Zahmir Carroll shot gave the Clippers the lead for
good, 39-38, at the 7:15 mark. Junior Karell Watkins made his presence felt in
the stanza dropping 9 of his 17 points as the Clippers enjoyed a 7 points
cushion, 50-43, midway through the final quarter. Chester maintained two
possession lead until the Fords hit a trey as the buzzer sounded to end the
contest.

another double-double as he hauled in 10 rebounds to go along with his 17
points. Seniors Zahmir Carroll and Rahmee Gilbert contributed 9 and 8 points

bucket.
Chester will return to
the Clip Joint on Saturday, January 4th when they host the Bartram Braves. The
JV will tip-off at 1:30 p.m. with the Varsity to follow at 3:00 p.m. This will
mark the first of three home games before the Clippers hit the road for their
next seven (7) games. Del Val opponents Penn Wood (Tues, Jan 7th) and Academy
