of Parks, Public Property, and Recreation Director, Councilwoman Elizabeth
Williams is set to unveil continued improvements to Chester’s Parks and Public
Property this Tuesday, June 25th at 2:00PM inside Chester Park on
Edgemont Avenue, Chester PA. Parks Manager, Anthony Moore has been electing locations
citywide for vastly needed improvements to enhance the parks experience for
residents of Chester. Recreation Resource Inc. of Kennett Square provided the
amphitheater seating surrounding the band shell. A ribbon cutting ceremony will
mark the unofficial open of the summer park season with several important
announcements to be made regarding the vigorous upcoming entertainment
schedule. Philadelphian and Chester born thespians will present a short
performance to mark the occasion. Press is welcomed to join the Department’s
ribbon cutting and personnel will be available for questions following.
