CHESTER UPLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT GRADUATION SITE CHANGED TO CHESTER HIGH SCHOOL

Due to expected inclement weather, graduation ceremonies for Chester Upland School District are shifted to Chester High School gymnasium tomorrow at 6 p.m., according to Assistant Superintendent Tony Watson.

The football field behind Showalter Intermediate School was the original site for the graduation ceremonies for Chester High School and S.T.E.M. High School students. With a major storm predicted to hit the area by this evening and carry through Saturday, the district determined it needed to move the event to an inside venue.

In the event the gymnasium cannot accommodate all graduates and their guests, the high school’s auditorium will handle the overflow, with the ceremony simulcast to that room.
