“The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” tells the cautionary
story of a lazy young apprentice who has enough knowledge to initiate mystical
forces without the ability to stop them. Mary Hall Surface’s delightful
adaptation offers a magical look at this timeless tale, based on a poem by the
German poet Goethe and known to many through the classic Disney film
“Fantasia.”
“The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is directed by
Cocchiarale. The cast features Widener University students Ariel Diehl, Rebecca
Gomezrueda, Nathan Mirando, Tyler Palma, Kirk Reichart and Erika Sprague.
Technical assistance is provided by Daniel Castagna.
