Widener Law Day for High Schools

Youth Court Assistant Brian Foster, Youth Court Students: Alexis Lombard, Meya Childs, Daja Naylor, Zakira Hudson, and Tahnijah McBride

Widener Law School in Delaware had a law day for high school students. The four schools that were involved in the law day workshop were Springfield High School, Upper Darby High School, Ballou High School from Washington, DC, and Chester High School. Students from the high schools discussed a real defense of property case in a mock hearing with law Professor Kathleen Turezyn. Students also learned, from Assistant Dean Berkley, about the different law programs that Widener Law School offers.
