Tyreke Evans is in Chester for Basketball Camp and Vision Care

Evans in a playoff against teams to see who can beat him
Chester native and New Orleans Pelicans basketball star Tyreke Evans is in Chester to sponsor his free basketball camp for the second year. Evans is also returning with VSP® Vision Care for the sixth year in a row to provide free eye exams and glasses to adults and children in need. The Mobile Eye Clinic has been in town since Wednesday providing services at Memorial Park, the Boys & Girls Club on Thursday, City Hall on Friday, and now Chester High School. Evans shows that he is a nice guy and a natural with the kids at playing basketball. The kids were excited to be at basketball camp and they were having a lot of fun.

Students will receive backpacks filled with school supplies, apparel and athletic gear donated by VSP.

Clayshawn Cogman is a 10 grader at STEM getting an eye exam for glasses in the fully stocked, state-of-the-art, 45-foot-long VSP Mobile Eyes® clinic. Glasses are made on site.
