CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University Small Business Development Center is offering an eight-part series of seminars designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their dreams of owning a small business into reality. The cost is $75 for the series.
Seminars in this business ownership
series take place at the Widener SBDC located at 1350 Edgmont Ave. in Chester,
Pa. Each starts at 6 p.m. and runs an hour and a half.
The seminars address a range of
topics and progress logically to help participants build upon what they learn
each week. The schedule is as follows:
Sept. 16 – How to Start a Business
Sept. 22 – Is There a Market for my
Idea?
Sept. 30 – Is My Idea Doable?
Oct. 7 – Is My Idea Financially
Feasible?
Oct. 14 – Creating a Business Plan
Oct. 21 – Developing a Risk
Assessment; What Can Go Wrong?
Oct. 28 – Developing an Action Plan;
Get Going
Nov. 4 – Financing; “Show Me the
Money!”
