East Gateway Triangle Project Coordinator

Reporting To

CCIP’s Executive Director, Board of Directors and EGT Implementation Committee.

Position Summary

The Chester Community Improvement Project (CCIP) seeks a highly-organized, detail-oriented, energetic self-starter to take the lead in working with partners to implement the East Gateway Triangle Neighborhood Initiative action strategies.   The EGT Neighborhood Initiative is a revitalization plan targeting the northern area of the City of Chester adjacent to Widener University and Chester- Crozer Medical Center. The EGT strategies includes community organizing, youth development; leadership training for neighborhood residents; educational, enrichment and recreational programs; neighborhood stabilization activities and (non-capital) housing preservation. 

The EGT Project Coordinator is responsible for activities of the EGT Initiative and the Community Center including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, budgeting, fundraising, reporting, and program development services.  He/she works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.
