The Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute at Widener University will be offering a three session Saturday
morning course on the First Ladies of the United States. Join us as we discover
what part these women played in the formation of our government, in influencing
political decisions, and in the formation of social and cultural ideas. The
course will be taught by Barbara Fallini, BS, MA,
West Chester University, MA, Villanova University, who
was nominated as “Teacher of the Year” for Pennsylvania during her career as an
educator in the fields of economics and government.
The course
is open to everyone and will take place from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on September 27, October
4 and October 11 in Kapelski Learning Center, Room 236B on the university’s
main campus in Chester, PA. Interested individuals can mail in or
drop off $40.00 and completed registrations by September 19. Registration forms
