Phenomenal Young Ladies, Inc.
(PYL) is a Chester, PA. Based non-profit organization established on August 23,
2004 to enrich the lives of young females through participation in community
service and activities that broaden the scope of their cultural experience. In
addition to our programming we offer a book scholarship to a young lady that
resides in Chester, Pa. The scholarship award ranges from $250 to $400.
Book Scholarship Criteria
All applicants must:
Be a female, graduating high
school senior and attend a school located in Chester, Pa
Have a grade point average of
2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Be accepted to a two or
four-year college/institute of higher learning.
Proof of acceptance will be
requested before the scholarship will be awarded.
Submit a completed application:
The
completed application must be emailed (Microsoft word and pdf only) by June

Submit
a typed essay of no more than 300 words that answers one of the
essay questions on page 3.
Submit
an official High School transcript that clearly reflects your GPA.
Be available for a scheduled
phone interview.
