Emergency First Care Training for High School aged Young Men and Women in Chester

AAMN Emergency First Care Training Project

The value of human life is precious and priceless. An excellent way to help reinforce this fact in the hearts and minds of our youth is to help them learn how to save a life when a friend or family member suffers a life threating medical emergency.

Accordingly, the Widener University based Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter (GPAC) of American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) is launching a project to teach first aid and CPR to high school aged young men and women in Chester.  This PA Department of Health approved emergency care learning program is 4 hours in length and can be segmented into shorter time periods if necessary.

GPAC/AAMN is looking for organizations and/or institutions in Chester with whom we can partner.  The role of these “partners” would be to help promote these classes in order to recruit interested young people and if necessary host these training classes in an appropriate room/facility in the Chester community.   All classes would be conducted at no cost to the students or partnering organizations/institutions.
