Keynote Speaker Chris Roulhac with Head Football Coach Chuck Crews (dsbpix) |
The Chester
Clippers Football Team celebrated the 2012-2013 season by putting
on a great banquet Sunday afternoon March 17, 2013 at Chester High School. The banquet was a great way
for the team to commemorate and share experiences with parents and the community.
Head
Football Coach Charles Crews introduced his mentor, Keynote Speaker Defensive
Coordinator Chris Roulhac from Cheyney University, who spoke to the team
about Faith, Family, and Football. Roulhac encouraged the team to have faith
and believe when they face challenges in life. He encouraged the players to stay
loyal to their families because they have been a support to them. And finally,
Coach Roulhac asked the team “is football using you or are you using football?”
He encouraged students to be prepared academically, “don’t let football use
you, use football…to strive to get a college degree and prepare yourself for
the future.”
