Chester Football Banquet

The Chester Clippers Football Team celebrated the 2012-2013 season by putting on a great banquet Sunday afternoon March 17, 2013 at Chester High School. The banquet was a great way for the team to commemorate and share experiences with parents and the community. 

Head Football Coach Charles Crews introduced his mentor, Keynote Speaker Defensive Coordinator Chris Roulhac from Cheyney University, who spoke to the team about Faith, Family, and Football. Roulhac encouraged the team to have faith and believe when they face challenges in life. He encouraged the players to stay loyal to their families because they have been a support to them. And finally, Coach Roulhac asked the team “is football using you or are you using football?” He encouraged students to be prepared academically, “don’t let football use you, use football…to strive to get a college degree and prepare yourself for the future.”
