From Widener Observatory:
We are
starting a new season of public telescope sessions, monthly on Fridays,
starting on September 7th, and weekly on Mondays, beginning on
September 10th. All sessions run about one hour and are free and
open to the public. Friday sessions are scheduled on the first
Friday of each month from September through December and from February through
June, from 8-9 pm (except for those in May and June, which are later). Monday
session times are scheduled to start around half an hour to one hour after
sunset, which varies seasonally; see our stargazing web page below for
details. Of course you are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like
and bring along new friends to see the wonders of the heavens first hand.
