Widener University Physical Therapy Students and Faculty to Offer Free Mobility Clinics in Honor of Dr. King


Clinics Offered Jan. 13 and 16 throughout city of Chester

(CHESTER, Pa.) Jan. 9, 2012 – The Widener University Institute for Physical Therapy Education will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with free mobility clinics throughout the city of Chester on Friday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 16. At each clinic site, students and faculty will screen and clean scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes to ensure that these assistive devices are in optimal condition. In addition, each site will offer blood pressure screenings.
