Once again US DOT Federal Highway Administration Pennsylvania Division office in Harrisburg is seeking your help to locate a student to participate in the 2012 Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG). To refresh your memory, a college student would spend time with our staff working on transportation-related assignments during the summer. STIPDG is an important part of the DOT’s effort to promote the entry of women, persons with disabilities, and members of diverse groups into the transportation field where these groups are underrepresented.
The STIPDG program will run from June 4 to August 10, 2012. The student application deadline is December 31, 2011. Selection process and notification will take place no later than May 1, 2012.
