Football camp started in Chester on Monday at the high school level in preparation of football season. Students from five different programs are participating in football this year. Students are from Chester High, Science and Discovery, Allied Health, Community, and Home School. Seniors to watch out for are David Richardson #33 Offensive Lineman and Linebacker, Adrian Turner #12 Wide Receiver and Linebacker, Anthony Jackson #7 Wide Receiver, and George Bullock #26 Wide Receiver. Junior Rondae Jefferson #6 says he will be playing Quarter Back. This was his first day at football camp. We know he is good at basketball and he reassures me that he can handle football and basketball this year. Head Football Coach Charles Crews said many of the players participate in multiple sports during the school year. A few students are on the track team as well. Coach Crews said, “The best players see the field so they work harder…no favoritism.” Coach Crews revealed to me that he is assigned to Showalter this year. Many of the staff in the district has been reassigned to different schools. But on the bright side, Coach Crews will be next to the A field.

Here are some pictures. A video will be coming soon. See you at the games.
