Chester High School Graduation Party

Attention Chester High School graduating class: The City of Chester is offering a safe place to party after graduation. Here is the invitation:

Dear Graduates of the Class of 2011:
On behalf of Chester City Council and the City of Chester, it is my extreme pleasure to congratulate you on your graduation from high school. As you may know, the City's Department of Recreation has planned a Chester High Graduation Party in your honor on June 10, 2011 following the graduation ceremony in Ethel Waters Park to celebrate your accomplishment in graduating from high school. There will be lots of food, great music, and a live performance by some local entertainment.
In order for this event to be safe for all, we have implemented the following rules.
  • All students that attend the event must present a valid Chester High School I.D.
  • Non-graduates are not permitted in the event unless they are a parent or guardian. Siblings may attend only when accompanied by parents.
  • There will be no alcohol or smoking on the premises.
  • Graduates can park at City Hall, but are not permitted to park on Rt. 291.
  • Once the event is over, graduates under the age of 18 must return home to prevent curfew violations.
We are pleased to have the support of the Chester Police Department and community volunteers to help make this event safe and secure. Our goal is to make the night fun and safe for all in attendance.
We encourage all graduating seniors to come out and join us for a fun, festive evening.

Sincerely,
Wendell N. Butler, Jr.
Mayor
