Recently the Key Club and the Rotary Club met for their culminating event at Applebee’s for an end of year breakfast. We have wrapped up another successful year. Students were involved with many community service projects in the City of Chester for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Martin Luther King Day. They participated in fundraisers for cancer and for the needy. While excelling with their academics, participating in school activities, and hold down jobs, students have inspired others to do their best. They have shown others that, you don’t have to bow to peer pressure or follow the pack, maintaining individualism while helping others is important. These students are already successful and have the potential to carry this success into their future.

Most of the students were members of both clubs so it made sense to have our culminating event together to showcase the students for their exceptional work this school year. All the seniors will be going off to college. They have been accepted into and have received scholarships to attend prestigious institutions.

Students received certificates and award pins for their participation in both clubs. The Key Club and the Rotary Club would like to thank their supporters for coming out on a Saturday Morning for the breakfast event. Special thanks to Dr. Cavin from the Rotary Club of Chester for his continued support for the Rotary Program at the high school. Congratulations to Advisors Farela Howie (Key Club) and Donna Scott-Brown (Rotary Club) for their dedication to the programs. Congratulations to the students for their achievements.
