Happy Hump Day Boys and Girls
Many magic moments we have shared
Under the umbrella of books
Listening and creating and discovering
Together we have met Mr. Dewey and sung songs
and gone on many adventures that
Included disguised chapter books and biography hunts
and putting together puzzle pieces of bibliographies
Channeled by your energy and enthusiasm,
Under the umbrella of books
Learning came easy for you and
Teaching you has been an everyday treat
Until the decision came to separate us – but
Remember always that the world is a rainbow
And all the colors blend to make its’ arc full.
Loving you and learning from you have been short lived joys
Uyiocive, Adios, Aufwiedersehen, Arrivederci, Adieu, Farewell
