Chester went against Mt. Lebanon in the toughest win I have seen this basketball season. Chester led 19 to 12 in the first quarter. But Chester watched their points shrink in the second, 34-31, due to bad referee calls. The fans were upset. Chester kept playing through the bad calls as usual because their talent for the game always wins out. In the third quarter, the points tied up 35-35 then Chester pulled ahead 2 points. The score kept going back and forth in this closely played game. The score was tied up 44-44 later in the 3rd then Mt. Lebanon pulled ahead by 1 point 46-45 to end the 3rd. It was not pretty! The game was too intense for me as the scores kept tying up 48-48, 50-50, 55-55 with 1 minute 29 seconds to go, and then 57-57 with 13 seconds to go. The game went into overtime tied up at 57-57. This game was draining. It was like I was playing. I don’t know how many "please God let them win" I said but Chester pulled ahead in overtime to win 72-60.
