Chester vs. Dallastown

Clippers at the line
Chester played Dallastown in Norristown last night. I was in the stands with the fans. The game started fast, fast, fast when just minutes into the game, the Scoreboard went out, shutting the game down with both teams tied up 13 to 13. Once the scoreboard was back on, the game picked up. First quarter ended with Chester in the lead 21 to 13.

Second quarter brought shouts from Chester fans, “no fouls, move your feet.” I think they heard. Chester led 42 to 28 at the end even with Dallastown’s #4 Point Guard McGlynn making those in credible shots. I won’t tell you what they had to say about the other team and the referees. It was all in fun.
Clowning around with the fans
Third quarter the fans kept on the Clippers, “too much dribbling” and “bend your knees” for the free throws. This game was about the fans. Still Chester kept the lead 56 to 41.
Final Score
Final quarter while Dallastown relied on #4 heavily to make their shots, keeping them in the game, Chester won 69 to 56. Fans, “Good win!!!”

Chester will go on to play Rustin on Wednesday.
