| Clippers at Penn Wood |
At an away game at Penn Wood, Chester fans endured another nail biter to pull off a win. Clippers JV won 51 to 37 and Varsity won 76 to 72.
Chester survived a comeback attempt by Penn Wood. Two times in the closing minutes Penn Wood cut what was an 18 point lead to 3 points. The Clippers led in scores by Maurice Nelson 22 points and a clutch 3 pointer to extend the lead to 7 after Penn Wood close the gap to 4 points. Lamond Church added 20 points and did an adequate job on Aaron Brown who had 22 points. A bit of an oddity, Penn Wood’s athletic director was coaching from the bench.
We also endured a lot of trash talking from both sides in the stands, a lot of free throws, and while shots hitting people in the stands. It was another exciting game.

I would like to congratulate the Clippers again for their outstanding effort. I would love to have been there and witness their talents. I hope they continue to succeed.

ReplyDeleteThe game sounds like it was exciting. I wish I could of been there to see the Clippers beat Penn Wood at their own home court. I would just like to say congratulations to the Clippers on another good win.
