Main Street Elementary Students celebrate Black History Month

Recently, Main Street students celebrated Black History Month by performing characters from the past to the present in the play, “Voices From The Past To The Present,” a play that has been making the rounds in the area for Black History Month. The Program was organized by Anita Brown who also designed a Wax Museum at the school. Ms. Brown is a Special Education Teacher who has been teaching in the district for 20 years. During the program, she choreographed a dance from the song Heroes by Mariah Carey.
