Chester Upland School District teachers rallying for fair education funding

A RALLY for FAIR EDUCATION FUNDING

When: Wednesday, June 15th | 4:15 PM

We Assemble at 4 PM

Where: CUSA (School of the Arts): (501 West 9th St, Chester PA)

IMPORTANT DETAILS: We will assemble at CUSA, march to Chester High and hold a rally. All teachers and District employees should make every effort to participate in this rally. We will contact the media and want to make a strong demonstration before the end of the school year.

The Chester Upland Teachers and Students continue to face uncertainty as Harrisburg politicians cannot seem to find a long-term solution to help the School District’s faculty, students and community.

Another year comes to a close and still Teachers of Chester Upland School District face uncertainties about the District making payroll and the stability of fair and equitable resources to maintain the District for the long-term.

We ask all Teachers and professional support staff to reach out to a minimum of 3-5 parents and/or community members and ask them to join us June 15^th

** Signs and Talking Points will be provided

** CUEA and ESP members will speak at the rally

** We will provide water as it can be HOT in June
