Widener PT Students to Offer Free Mobility Clinics throughout Chester Friday in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr.



CHESTER, Pa. – Widener University graduate students enrolled in the Institute for Physical Therapy Education will offer free mobility clinics throughout the city of Chester on Friday, Jan. 15 in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Community members are encouraged to take advantage of these clinics, which offer free screening and cleaning of scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes in addition to blood pressure screenings. Clinics on Friday include:

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Stinson Towers, 1501 Arbor Drive

10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Chestnut Ridge, 2601 Chestnut St.
Community Hospital, 2600 W. 9th St.
Crozer Adult Day Care, Silberman Center of Crozer Chester Campus, One Medical Center Blvd.
Matopos Hills, 925 John St.
Episcopal Place, 421 W. 24th St.

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Palmerhouse, 1420 Esrey St.

12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Chester Senior Center, 721 Hayes St.
CityTeam Ministries, 634 Sproul St.
Edgmont Building, Edgmont Avenue
