Rondae Hollis-Jefferson’s #23 Clippers Jersey Retired!

Congratulations to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson whose achievements as a Chester Clippers Basketball star led him to this historic occasion. His #23 jersey was retired at half-time during the Chester High School Basketball game against Bartram. Hollis-Jefferson was a McDonald’s All American. Hollis-Jefferson also played college basketball for Arizona before going on to the Brooklyn Nets. Happy Birthday wishes are also in order as Hollis-Jefferson celebrates his 21st birthday.

The Clippers dominated Bartram. They played at the level I’m use to seeing them. Clippers maintained a very good lead throughout the game winning 69 to 49 over Bartram.

    1. The following numbers are officially retired: 3 - Horace, 13 - Govens, 14 - Nelson, 23 - Hollis-Jefferson.

A committee is being formed to review how to recognize the other players. Keeping in mind with High School basketball the available game number is restricted with 55 being the highest number you can use.
