Chester High School Clippers Baseball 2015

Finally, it's baseball season! The Chester High School baseball team had their home opener last week during spring break. They beat Penn Wood in the opener. Clippers lost their second game to Chichester. They were rained out for the first 2 scheduled games which they will make up. The Clippers started to play Academy Park today but the game was postponed due to rain. Clippers later went back to the A Field and tied the score 8-8 in the bottom of the 7^th before it began to rain again. They will continue the game next time they play Academy Park. The Clippers' record is 1-1. 

Some of these guys have been playing since 9^th grade and are now 11^th and 12^th graders. They are seasoned players and they love the sport. Coach Mark Bennett said, "this year's team is very competitive." He is looking forward to a good season with his team.
