Chester, Pa. – Students from Widener University’s Institute for Physical
Therapy Education have organized a 5K color run on Friday, April 10 at 4 p.m.
to benefit the Chester Community
Physical Therapy Clinic. The student-run clinic aims to improve healthcare
access to physical therapy services by providing pro bono care to underserved
and uninsured individuals in Chester and surrounding communities.
Pre-race festivities begin at 3 p.m.
on Widener’s Memorial Field behind Old Main with lawn games, music and a
warm-up led by the Widener Wellness Center staff. Participants are encouraged
to register at this time prior to the 4 p.m. race start. All who register will
receive a t-shirt, sunglasses and a beverage voucher for use at Maggie May’s
Campus Pub after the race.

Individual registration is $25, and individuals who register as part of a team
with eight or more members pay $15 a person.
