Lincoln University performs halftime at Chester High School Football Homecoming Game

The weather was damp and rainy for the homecoming game for Chester High School football. One fan told me it was misty. But the crowd turned out at Widener University’s Quick Stadium to see the Clippers football team go up against rival Penn Wood. The game opened with the Cheyney University Marching Band. Chester got off on the score board with 6, no good on the kick. Then Penn Wood scored with 2 points conversion, 6 to 8. Chester scored again making it to the end of first quarter 12 to 8. At the end of the first half, Chester led 20 to 14. Chester ended the game with a win over Penn Wood 34 to 21. Congrats Chester on your second win of the season.
