In a
football game today at the A Field in Chester, Chester High football team went
up against William Penn Charter and lost 6 to 13. Nyeem Jones number 21 made
the only touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter. Last Saturday night, I had
the opportunity to travel with the team to watch them go up against Coach Crews
their old coach who is now an assistant coach at Bonner. The Clippers played
hard and could have won the game with only 7 points separating them and Bonner,
34-27. Point spread wise, Chester is shrinking the gap in games played against competitors.
The score is not as one sided as it used to be which is a step in the right direction
for the Clippers. Sources had the Clippers losing to Bonner 38-0. Clippers are now 1-4 for the season. The last 5 games are
going to be crucial. Next week the Clippers play Glen Mills at home. Glen Mills
is 1-4 like the Clippers. In two weeks, homecoming game is at Widener against Penn
Wood. Good Luck Clippers!
