Okay, so the
Eagles lost again and won’t be moving forward in the play-offs. Eagles’ fans
can only hope they win not expect them to win. That’s just too much to ask for.
The Eagles got lucky last week with their 2 points victory over Dallas. And I
am sure they were hoping for the same over the Saints. But when the Saints’
kicker didn’t miss, the Eagles lost the game. That’s relying on luck instead of
putting some real effort in to win the game. The Eagles could have won the
game. I counted at least 10 points they missed out on. The kicker missed the
first punt (-3pts.) and Cooper dropped the ball (-7pts. with field goal). So
the Eagles lost because of the Eagles not the Saints. The Saints did not play
well. The Saints got lucky.
That being
said, the Eagles are a much better team this year. They stepped it up. NFC East
Champions and 10 games won for the season over only 4 last year. Chip Kelly did
a great job bringing the Eagles back up after dealing with Reid. That lost the
Chiefs took yesterday shows why Any Reid is not with the Eagles today. What
kind of game was that? Made no sense, fans don’t miss Reid. Reid confirmed that
yesterday. The Eagles should stay as a team, the way they are now except for
Mike Vick. It’s time for Vick to move on to commentating. He can take over for
Rodney Harrison who is a complete jerk much like someone I know unfortunately.
Will the
Eagles ever step it up enough to go to the Super Bowl or win the Super Bowl? Fans
should not expect this to happen. But we can only hope that one day it will. So
when I hear that the lost was heartbreaking, I disagree. Eagles’ fans had their
hearts broken a long time ago. We are disappointed and will get over it. We are
going to pick a team to win in the Super Bowl no matter what…
