Fruitvale Station

"FRUITVALE STATION" Starring Michael B. Jordan

When this movie first came out, it was in selected theaters. Now finally I get to see it because the movie is in theaters everywhere. I can't wait to see it!

We are asking that all chapter Sorors support former Delta Pi Chapter Kudos, Michael B. Jordon, age 26, who plays the leading role in the movie, Fruitvale Station. Michael plays the part as the late Oscar Grant III, recounting the shooting of the 22 year-old Grant in the back by police officer, Johannes Mehserle, on a train platform on New Year's Day 2009, Oakland, California. November 10, 2013, Mehserle was sentenced to two years, minus time served.

Since graduating from Arts High School, Newark, New Jersey, Michael has starred in George Lucas' film, Red Tails, about the legendary Tuskegee Airmen. He also starred in Chronicle. His television work includes, HBO's drama, The Wire, and NBC's Emmy-winning, Friday Night Lights. He also had a role in Parenthood. During the time that Michael was a Kudos, he played in the day-time soap opera, All
My Children. He has played on TV dramas Without A Trace, Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation just to name a few.

It is our hope that the Sorors will also take their Xinos, Kudos, Anthropos and Hub Parents to see this movie. We have our fingers crossed and pray that Michael gets nominated for an Academy Award.

Thank you From
