business news site, has named Widener University to its list of the Top 25 Most Underrated Colleges in
America based on a comparison of the annual U.S. News & World
Report college rankings to the mid-career salaries of college graduates.
“Future income isn't the only factor
that should determine college choice, but it may be the most important one,”
the Business Insider story begins. “So how good are the famous college rankings

there are some majorly underrated and overrated schools.”

students major in business and 22 percent major in health professions,
which may explain why graduates have such high mid-career salaries at an
average of $78,200,” the story states.
