National Honor Society Chester High Chapter

Principal Will Towson, Inductee Christopher Garrett, and Teacher/advisor Olivia Miller
Two students were inducted into the National Honor Society of the Chester High Chapter in a ceremony today in the beautiful Clippers Fare Restaurant. This was the 76th annual induction ceremony. The senior members have graduated and new members will take their place.

Inductees Christopher Garrett and Devon Wilson
Being inducted in the honor society means meeting very high standards and recognizes those who excel. Students had to achieve in academics and maintain the scholastic average.

The candle lighting ceremony included the four attributes of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Scholarship means a commitment to learning. Character is the force within each individual which distinguishes that person from others. Leadership should exert a wholesome influence on the school by taking initiative in class and school. Service can be realized in various ways by helping others.

Congratulations to the inductees!
