Widener
University and the Andrew L. Hicks Jr. Foundation will host a jamboree for more
than 350 participants of the Chester Upland Soccer for Success Program.
The jamboree will include carnival games, soccer activities, face painting, a
ceramic quilt project, an inflatable moon bounce, free lunch and give-a-ways
for all participants. It will be a highly visual, carnival-like atmosphere.
The Chester
Upland Soccer for Success Program is an after-school youth development
program that uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote
healthy lifestyles for children in urban, underserved communities.
