PathWays PA
will be offering Adult Basic Computer classes through a new program, PathWays
to 21st Century Employment. Forty hour classes will be
offered over 8 week periods in Delaware County. The first class will
begin in January 2013.
The purpose of the class is to help adults develop the
computer skills necessary to apply for and succeed in employment. The
course will cover the following topics: Microsoft Office basics; navigating
the internet; jobs searches on the internet; sending and receiving e-mail; e-mail
and internet etiquette; creating a resume; applying for jobs online; and
avoiding viruses and keeping your computer healthy.
