Joe Watkins Addressed Students about the Future of Chester High School

Chief Recovery Officer Joe Watkins addressed students in a brief assembly about the Recovery Plan for the district. Before the assembly students completed a survey giving their input on how to carry out the plan. Mr. Watkins talked about a better school district with an art program and new laptops through funding. A student mentioned false hopes and promises but for the most part students seem interested in hearing about the plan. The plan calls for the Stem school and the Administration Building to relocate at Chester High School. The next step is for the school board to approve or reject the plan.
