Drawn from
an ancient Inca folktale, this musical shows how a young girl, filled with
truth and courage, can bring healing and hope to her people. The tale is
energized by Nancy Rosenberg’s music, which also showcases the Inca culture.
Since 2001,
the FreshBaked Theatre Company has promoted Widener’s mission of civic
engagement with quality drama for children and their families in the greater
Chester area. The ensemble strives to produce thought-provoking productions
that challenge both young and adult audience members. “Our mission is to
present inventive drama for young minds and the people who nurture
them,” said Cocchiarale.
