Salvation Army Thanksgiving Day Lunch

Thanksgiving was happening at the Salvation Army on Thanksgiving Day. Many community groups came out to volunteer to serve patrons of the Salvation Army. In charge of the event: Major Jose Santiago, Commanding Officer of the Chester Salvation Army Corps and Samantha Lockard, Program Assistant.

Seniors in the School of Hospitality Management co-op program prepared the Thanksgiving meal for the Salvation Army. “This is the sixth year that students have made everything from stuffing and vegetables to turkey and pumpkin pie to accommodate about 100 people.”
