| Nelson's 4th Grade Team |
From Chester Clippers:
The 4th grade Team Nelson boys' basketball team went 5-1and finished in 9th place in the AAU National Championships held in Charlotte, NC. The team defeated some of the top teams in the country including the former champions Detroit Elite. Team Nelson defeated DC Assault in the 9th and 11th place championships. The team earned 9th place and is one of the top 10 teams in the nation.
The team consists of several Chester Biddy Players Mark Bradshaw, John Dinkins, Jalen Hudson, Anthony Hoggard, Donta Scott, Mikeal Jones, Jalen Gaffney, Kieves Turner, Chris Allen, Amin Dandridge.
Team Nelson is sponsored by Chester High and Orlando Magic star Jameer Nelson.
