One World, Many Stories

Summer Reading Club at Crozer Library

Allison DeSalvo
Celebrate literacy, diversity, and multiculturalism this summer during the J. Lewis Crozer Library’s popular Summer Reading Program. The summer fun begins on Saturday, June 25th with the Summer Reading Club Kickoff from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

Allison DeSalvo’s World of Song Family Concert will be our featured entertainment. Join World of Song’s award winning singer-entertainer, Allison DeSalvo, for a magical music festival that celebrates our global connections through song and story. Tour the world in this joyously interactive concert of traditional, original and international songs using instruments, puppets, and art to delight the imagination and fill the heart with joy! The program is geared for a mixed age group, 2 - 8 years.

During the Kickoff program, children will be given passports to travel around the world, visiting Honduras, Italy, Sierra Leone, and Trinidad to highlight this year’s theme of “One World, Many Stories.”  There will be entertainment and refreshments throughout the day. All programs are free.

The Summer Reading Program begins on June 25th and will extend through August 26th. Anyone of any age can participate by logging the books they have read online. Visit us online at www.crozerlibrary.org for more details.

Crozer Library is located at 620 Engle Street in Chester.  Please call (610) 494-3454 for more information.
