Single Black Female

Recently, I got a chance to visit the beautiful DuPont Theatre at the Hotel DuPont in downtown Wilmington to see the entertaining show ‘Single Black Female’. I like to go to this Theatre because it is in very good shape compared to the others I have visited in the area.

But this new play, written by Kash Goin, is about a Black single female on the dating scene with all the complexities that comes with dating. The play does highlight some of the male side of the dating scene. You can’t really have one without the other. Anyhow, it had a story for singles to relate to.

The music was fantastic as usual. The acting was rich with talent in and around the area. Priest Tyaire introduced his fragrance Crave. Moshay Loren from Philly radio station WRNB 107.9 hosted the play. Depends on how successful the show was there may be more showings at a later date.
