Rotary Club Student of the Month 2

Connie Irvin, Dr. A. Cavin, Evon Hyles
Connie and Evon
I was back again at Harrah’s Cove Restaurant for student of the month for December and January. The student of the month for December was Connie Irvin. The student of the month for January is Evon Hyles.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin with their daughter Connie
Connie Irvin is a 12th grader at Chester High School. She has excelled academically at the school. I have known Connie since her 10th grade year. I can definitely attest that she is an A student. She is involved in ROTC and the community activities and events the ROTC is involved in. She is a member of Chester High School’s Rotary Club. Connie has already been accepted to Widener University.  She was accompanied by her parents, Gregory and Connie Irvin, to the luncheon provided by the Rotary Club of Chester. The Rotary Club appreciated the attendance of the Irvins to the luncheon. Although some parents are not able to attend these luncheons due to work schedule, we always like to see a show of support from our parents. Thanks for attending the Rotary Club luncheon Mr. and Mrs. Irvin.
Evon
Evon Hyles is also a 12th grader at Chester High School. I have known Evon since his 10th grade year. Evon is academically and athletically gifted. He was recognized at the November 2010 All-Delco Football Banquet for Team MVP Line Backer on the Chester High School Football team. He is an Entrepreneur who owned and operated a candy sales business. He has been accepted to a University in Harrisburg but is keeping his options open and will make a final decision soon. He would like to play for the Philadelphia Eagles Football team.
The Irvins and the Students of the Month
This was another wonderful day at the Cove with the Rotary Club of Chester. Congratulations to both our new students of the month. Again, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Irvin for attending the luncheon. Thank you Rotary Club of Chester for all you do in making this luncheon happened. Thank you all for recognizing the students at Chester High School.
